First Steps North West have opened our bespoke family residential centre in Accrington, Lancashire, with the primary objective of enabling children to remain safely in the care of their parents and keep families together.
We are committed to working with parents and the Local Authority to provide tailored assessments and packages of support for parents who need advice and guidance to improve their parenting in whatever way that might be.
We recognise that parents who have experienced adversity, may at times, require a team of professionals around them to work in partnership to achieve positive outcomes for their children. Our team aims to empower parents to gain the necessary skills and confidence to provide a good standard of care to their children, with the ultimate aim of transferring this to their own homes.
